Michaela Hopkins MCHP, MCThA - Holistic and Deep Tissue Massage Practitioner
Michaela holds an Itec Level 3 Diploma in Massage (distinction obtained), having trained with the Richdales Institute in London. She has also completed a Deep Tissue Massage training course accredited by both the Federation of Holistic Therapists (FHT) and International Practitioners of Holistic Medicine (IPHM) at the Brighton School of Massage. She is a member of both the Complementary Therapists Association (CThA) and Complementary Health Professionals (CHP).
Michaela developed an interest in massage more than two decades ago, when working in highly pressurised office environments and experiencing its many benefits first hand. Massage proved a useful antidote to daily stresses and strains, not only helping to alleviate physical pain from long hours in front of a computer, but also helping to lower generalised levels of stress and anxiety - allowing the brain some time to ‘switch off’.
Additionally, Michaela holds an Itec Level 2 Award in Infection Prevention (Covid-19) for Complementary Therapies and Sports Massage. She is also a MOE Certified Life Coach who specialises in working with young adults, as well as a Mental Health First Aider.
